In November 2019, the University’s work on race and racism has been acknowledged with the Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter (REC) Bronze award.

As part of the institutional work, we developed a three-year REC action plan to tackle racial inequalities.

The event will help departments to make sense of the REC action plan, and to develop their own initiatives aligned with the institutional approach.
